SC0159
14th Century Koto mounted in abalone shell koshirare.
The very sharp blade was originally much longer and has been shortened at one time. It has a suguha hamon with small ashi. It seems to be the work of Rai Kunimitsu, student of Rai Kunitoshi and he worked from 1326-13
This sword is a good candidate for shinsa and would leave it to the scholars to determine its maker.
