Over the years, I have came across many watches from Middle Easter countries with special dials.
Since earlier years, rich clients from oil rich countries would order custom-made dials specially on their watches.
Money was never an issue and uniqueness is what they desire.
This is one unique Rolex Day-Date, ref. 1803, 18k yellow gold with a dial I have not seen before. It looks like rock coated surface with depressed numberal markers. We have closely examined the markers and they were all original and have not been removed and refitted. The words imprinted on the dial could pssibly have been worn off.
Overall condition is excellent and watch is working fine.
1803 usually comes with a fluted bezel and this has a smooth bezel.
