14th century period Katana in a Meiji period tachi koshirae

14th century period blade signed, mounted in a Meiji period tachi koshirae.

The blade is in Minty condition and has a length of 67cm with a deep curvature of 2.5cm and a high shinogi ridgeline and smaller ko-kissaki. It shows a well-grained and visible itame hada and the hamon is a well-implemented nie-based irregular midare hamon with a bright and well-defined nioi-guchi. The hamon is present in the blade through the kissaki where it ends in a thick maru boshi. There are activities like nie hosture, inazuma, and kinsuji in and around the hamon.

The tang is signed but not clear. From the shape of the blade, it looks 14th century period sword. There is a signature but not clear.

The tachi koshirae is of Meiji period and in very Good condition.
