A pre-WW2 GENDAITO, signed and housed in a civilian mount.

This is a nice example of a well forged Seki sword made before WW2 and mounted in a civilian koshirae for someone who worked for the military.

Overall condition is very good and the 61cm blade has a hamon with lots of activities running along the whole cutting edge.

It looks as if it was made yesterday and the smith's signature is cut on its tang.
