SC0156
The unsigned blade is in my opinion, a Shinto sword, which was generally includes swords made from 1596 through 1764.
The blade is muscularly healthy and is in very beautiful condition despite its age.
The Hamon temper line is Midareba type, i.e. irregular temper line, and is artistic. The blade has been recently professionally polished.
Mountings are attractive and nicely aged. The scabbard is nicely black-lacquered and is in mint condition. Particularly, the Kashira butt cap, Fuchi collar, and Kojiri are in the same set and has very attractive plant patterns.
There are three Mekugi holes and the length of the cutting edge is 60.8cm.
