A Beautiful Edo era samurai sword

KATANA ANTIQUE JAPANESE LONG SWORD 66.8 CM UNSIGNED, BIZEN SCHOOL Late Edo (Before 1800)

Bizen-school, Sukesada Group, Shin-Shinto (New-New Swords)

This sword was made in Late Edo (Before 1800)

This blade is unsigned but judging from the characteristics of the blade, this sword seemed to come from Bizen-school , Bizen-koku (Now,Okayama Prefecture) with the characteristics of Sukesada Group`s work.

This Hamon (temper line) is beautiful Choji-midare with almost same hamon on both sides.

Jihada is Ko-Mokume-hada and in old polish.

The sword is very Beautiful and elegant with age appropriate wear.

Sori (Curvature): 1.8cm

Motomihaba (Width at the Hamachi): 3.29cm

Motokasane(Thickness of Motokasane): 7.8mm

Sakimihaba: 2.51cm, Sakikasane: 5.2mm

Nakago (The tang of the blade) Length: 20.4cm

Material: Tamahagane

Hamon (temper line): Choji-midare.

Jihada: Ko-Mokume-hada

Tsukurikomi: Shinogi zukuri

Boshi: Nakamaru
