This painting on ceramic, depict a lady reading in the garden and was done in year 2000 by China's National Grade Grandmaster Artist, Zeng Wei Kai.
There are less than 20 National Grade Ceramic Artists in China. The categories are classified as: artist, senior artist, Professor & Provincial Grade GM Artist and then National Grade Grandmaster. Each examination normally takes place every 4 years with 3 pieces of works being examined by a panel of top experts in ceramic art.
One of my favourites and it is prominently displayed at the entrance of my house.
