This sword was made in late Muromachi with 2 piece silver habaki.
The blade has suguha hamon on both sides of the blade and the Tang has 3 holes showing that this blade has been remounted thrice. The saya is of edo period and the pierced iron tsuba has a beautiful patina on it.
The blade has been shortened and the name of the smith might have been cut off at one time. Therefore it is mumei( unsigned)
The very sharp cutting edge is 65.5cm.
