Beautifully polished Katana, Signed Tenryushi Taira Hisakazu, Ansei Gan-nen Junigatsu-bi ( December, 1854 ). Ozaki suketaka -Group (Disciple of ozaki suketaka),Shin-Shinto (New-New Swords), Late Edo Period, , around Ansei era 1854s.N.T.H.K(Nihon Token Hozon Kai) attributed this to be made by Tenryushi Taira Hisakazu,The Hamon (temper line) is Gonome Choji-midare.Hacho(Cutting edge,Blade length): 66.5cm

Mounted in WW2 Military leather covered combat koshirae. protective
