This is the 2nd GMT model made to replace the 6541.
Plastic crystal, automatic and made in 1960s.
I bought this GMT at the NWCC Watch show, New Orleans in 1990.
In last couple of years, with prices of all other vintage Sports models shooting thru the roof, the Europeans dealers began to take notice of this laggard model. They started buying up all available pieces in Asia and prices had gone up a lot.
The dial, radium and bezel of this watch has aged over the years with an overall warm aura and looks very charming.
Despite its vintage, the movement is in mint condition and keeps excellent time.
4th pic with the Daytona I bought at the same watch show.
